    (Good night. Smile)

"That doesn't matter. We are pack. You lead, and if you can't see things the same way, or at the very least compromiseand think of the better of the pack, then we are weak." Requiem said, his black eyes giving no ooption but the hackles raising along his shoulders sshowed his frustration with the two.

Dusk slid her fingers throughthe fur of Requiems fur, an habit after years of rrelying on Requiem for comfort after her fathers death. "I can't wait till your done with that, Max. I'd love to actually speak with Requiem." Running a hand through her raven locks she looks down at the Alasken Malumate/ wolf mix standing by her side.

Max gave her an embarrassed grin. "Well, I'm pretty sure they understand us at least partially. Honestly, I'm counting on that to help me program it." He glanced over at Aindreas, who was sitting calmly in the snow. "It will be awesome when we can understand them, though."

    [Goodnight guys!]

Requiem, being the eldest of them and feeling fatherly curls against his alpha females side. "I know dear. We'll get her back."

Dusk nods. "You'll get it to work. You're smart." With a playful punch to his shoulder Dusk laughed and went to recheck the quivers.

Aindreas looked over at his master, and chuckled. Max's cheeks were red beneath the freckles, and he was trying to hide it by examining his device for any altered connections or dents in its hard casing.

Dusk hid her face with her hair as she slung her stuff back onto her back. "I wonder what they've gotten themselves into now." She tilted her head, something more dog than human and pretended she didn't see his blush though she wanted to laugh.

Max shrugged again, still fiddling with the the device. "I don't know, although I wish I did." He chuckled.

Aindreas shook himself, sending snow and icy water spraying about. He padded over to Max and nudged his leg. "There's a strap loose."
Max glanced down at the canine and let the device hang at his side. "What is it, Aindreas?" He knelt by the hybrid's side, and immediately laughed. "Well that was foolish of me." He reached underneath Aindreas's chin and tightened the strap for his helmet. "There you go."

Taking a pack off her shoulders, Dusk took out Requiems own armor. Made with grinded dragon bone and steel it was nearly unbreakable, but the dragon bone made it light, and made it easy for Requiem to move and twist in battle. The armor was black as night, and fitted the ex-alpha, now elder Beta too the pack.

Dusks father had once owned the smithy in the village, but Dusk now ran it and made the weapons and tools with the same mastery as her father once had.

Kneeling down to finish tying the thin straps to place his helm on she tilts her head and wishes for the hundredth time that Max was finished with the translator. She knew not what was going on, but knew it was probably going to be a little dangerous. Her green eyes went to Max, before going to her dogs paws. How she wished she were done with her newest creation the Silver Sharp Claws, but she wasn't finished yet.

After giving Aindreas a final scratching behind the ears, Max stood and looked around. It sort of felt like they were going to war. He chuckled at the thought. But were they?
"Hey. Wake up." Aindreas's bark and gentle headbutt yanked Max from his thoughts. He gave the dog an appreciative nod, and examined his fellows. Dusk was putting a nicely crafted set of armour on her canine, and-wait. He centered his gaze on Requiem, noticing the bone-like material the armour was made of. "That's some pretty awesome armour. What sort of material did you use? I haven't seen the likes of it before."

Aindreas lowered his head slightly. "Yes, he did. Max enjoys working with metals."

"Thank you. Its made of dragon bone." Dusks cheeks turned pink at the compliment. "My dad started it before he made his trip, but after he died I finished it." Averting her gaze she retightenes a strap on Requiems shoulder.

Max stared at the armour in surprise. "Dragon bone?"

Aindreas chuckled, his tail sweeping the ground. "Why thank you. I'll do my best to convey your appreciation." He stretched, feeling the lightness and maenuverability of the plates.

"Yeah." Next her ears turned red with embarrassment. Dusk was friendly, but wasn't a big fan of attention.

Requiem gave a quiet huff as he shook out his fur and could feel the flexible metal move. "Its a long story." Requiem said to Max, even knowing he wouldn't understand all he was saying.

Max pondered this for a couple of minutes before responding. "Maybe we can talk about materials and designs later?"
