¥~it Must Be Something In The Water~¥

Ayase blinked tiredly and looked toward the mouth of the den, seeing the early morning light penetrating halfway into the shadows. Yawning, she rises to her paws and stretches before making her way outside.
She sniffs the air and turns toward the warriors den, on her way she passes the den commonly used for nursing and tilts her head, enjoying the small noises within, the squeaks and gentle suckling, before continuing onward.
She reaches the warriors den just in time to see her mate Hades duck out into the light.
She trots up to him and touches her noes to his in greeting.

Hades "well good morning how are you? I assume you have already made your rounds already?" smiling at his mate Ayase

Ayase grins "Not yet, Im getting a slow start today. I noticed you weren't in the den and figured you were working your tail off again."

She peers around him into the large den of fighters, "Hows training?"

Hades chuckles "I'm not really training myself this time I'm just checking on the rest see if any could challenge me and i'd figured let you sleep in some more"

Ayase smiles softly "You keep letting me sleep in and I'll be the one in need of sparring." She turns and starts trotting away, playfully dragging her tail under his chin.
"Would you like to join me while I patrol? We can send the betas on your usual route"

Hades smiling "Well you looked so peaceful so i didn't want to disturb over nothing and sure i would like to join you" leaping to her side

Ayase bumps into his shoulder before sprinting off toward the tree line, weaving in between the trees she knows so well, feeling Hades' gaze.
She grinned as they approached the river that ran through the middle of their territory. Without slowing, she leaped high into the air and dived in.

Hades darting after her weaving through the trees not as graceful, trips over a root stumbles then rolls into the river

Ayase laughs as she wades through the river to a large boulder interrupting the current, climbing up she sits and watches delighted as Hades tries to right himself against the pull of the water.
" you look like you're having fun there darling!" She calls, shaking some water out ofnher fur.

Hades fighting the current "yup i'm having so much fun you should join me" grabbing onto a boulder to stabilize himself" coughs up some water

Ayase Lowers her head and licks him tenderly on the muzzle . Looking down at him her heart flutters ever so slightly as she remembers the day he fought for the right to be her mate. How he bested every other suitor that sought to win the heart of the female destined to inherit the Oak Claw pack from her parents, famous for their strength and solidarity.
But Hades hadn't cared about that. No, rank and glory hadn't been the fire in his belly that day. And that is why he faced all challengers and won every time.

Ayase whined happily as she looked into Hades' handsome dripping face.

Hades looking up and into her eyes he remembers the first time he laid eyes on her how beautiful she was and even more so now also thinking how lucky he is she gave him the honor of being her mate. as he climbs the boulder stabilzes himself then leaps to the bank then nods for his ayase to join him

Ayase watches as his strong legs land him savely back on land an leaps after him, intertwining her tail with his as they walk leisurely through the woods.

"Hades, have I told you how handsome you look today?" She asks muzzling into the thick fur at his throat. "Things have been so tense lately, I don't remember the last time I told you."

Hades smiles as he hears this " i'm surprised to hear you say that. have i told you how beautiful you look today?" nuzzling back

Ayase rolls her eyes playfully " yes you have, every chance you get."
Her ears prick forward and she listens for a moment before smiling and picking up he pace.
" One of the nurses must have brought the pups out for their first taste of freedom" she chuckles as they make their way towards the sound of tiny growls.

Hades "you know i will every chance i get" chuckling as they pick up the pace "i wonder which pup is it?"

Ayase pushes through the thicket and watches as a couple of pups tumble past her, too busy chewing on one another to notice her.

She steps through with Hades at her side and immediately all the wolves address her, the nurse getting to her feet tiredly but respectfully. The pups tuck their tails in acknowledgment of their alphas, all but one.
A young male pup trots up to her staring blatantly.
Ayase had spent plenty of time in the nursing den, but due to the tension with surrounding packs it had been awhile.
Before she could ask the pup announced in it's proudest squeak " I'm Titan."
Ayase grins and looks back at Hades

Hades grins back at ayase then to Titan "looks like we got a brave little one i'm sure he'll make a great warrior when he is older"

The little pup puffs out his chest proudly at the compliment, giving the other pups the courage to greet her and Hades.

Before they know it they're romping with the little ones, hours go by when Ayase finally shakes the leaves and dirt out of her fur.

"Its getting late, we should get you little ones back to the den, I'm sure your mothers want to hear all about your day." Ayase smiles, bending down to lick a pup. She glances at Hades and sees he's surrounded, one pup chewing on he front leg, two playing tug of war with his tail, another jumping up trying to bat at his muzzles, and strangely one managed to perch itself on his back.

She laughs loudly "and I'm sure Uncle Hades is just about worn out!"

Hades looking around "umm i can't move without kicking or swating the little ones a little help here ayase"

Ayase sits and watches happily, three pups immediately tuck into he side and between her paws. "No I'm good right here thanks, maybe ask Titan to help you?"

Hades glares at ayase then looks to the pups "Its time for you little ones to go to the den" looks around once again "titan could you help me out please"

Titan rushes forward, proud to be given a duty by his alpha and yips at the other pups in what Ayase was sure was meant to be an assertive manner. The other pups scatter and start wrestling again.
Ayase stands and let's out a quiet growl, the pups stop playing and sit patiently. Ayase turns to the old nurse dozing in the last rays of sunshine and smiles.

"Hades and I will escort you all home." She's brushes up against Hades before trotting back towards the den.

Hades walking aside ayase watching the pups then glances over to ayase "lets hope these little ones dont get hyped up again" then looks back to the pups and sees titan leading the little ones back to the den

Ayase chuckles softly " you're just worried because you're out numbered." She teases.
