-Scarlett would smirk then, pressing the barrel of the gun against Apache's stomach as she frowns- "One more move, Mutt. And I dart you again."

*apache falls still whimpering and nodding*

[Sorry about that. I got abruptly dragged out to go shopping]
Irek growled, his hackles rising as he moved to his feet. "What do you mean?"
Aindreas glared back, blue eyes cold as ice. "You know what I mean."
"No, I really don't. But you smell like fire."
Aindreas resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "Fire is a heat source. Of course I smell like fire."
Irek chuckled, stretching his numb leg. "It also burns away poisons and evils." With an abrupt snarl, he lunged at Aindreas. The blue wolf met Irek with a headbutt, sending the dark grey wolf reeling from contact with the stiff metal. Before he could recover, Aindreas knocked Irek over and pinned him. "Answer the question!"

"come on irek you got this, you can beat him" *slightly struggling again but not too much*

Irek smirked and flung the blue canine off with a powerful kick. He flipped to his feet and growled, his eyes now a strange spiral. "My home was burned, so now I live here. Why do you want to know so bad?"
Aindreas rolled to his feet and bared his teeth. "Your father. Was he a large brute with black fur and silver markings?"
Irek blinked in surprise, his eyes flashing normal for a moment. "Yes?"

*apache looking to where he thinks to two wolves are* "irek you got this just stay strong"

Aindreas growled, eyes narrowed. "Just as I thought. You look similar to him."
Irek raised an eyebrow. "You knew him?"
Aindreas scowled. "I wish I didn't."
Irek glanced up at the sky, thinking. As much as he wanted to just bowl everyone over and rescue Apache, this was intruiging him. "Wait....he killed a couple of humans in his younger years..."
Aindreas circled behind the dark grey wolf and crouched. When Irek didn't seem to notice him, he pounced and raked his claws down his sides. "So you do remember."
Irek yelped and turned on Aindreas with renewed fury. "That's not polite!" He slammed into the blue wolf with all his might, and felt the satisfying crunch of some of the armour breaking. He caught Aindreas across the face with a claw and heard the metal skreech.
Aindreas danced away from the enraged wolf, and winced at the pain in his side. "Brute force, eh?" He shook the broken metal free from his body and darted forward, teeth biting into Irek's leg.

Elsewhere
Max wandered in a circle, his fingers tapping impatiently against the device that hung from his shoulder. A beep emitted from his watch, and he stopped short. A quick glance at it confirmed his thoughts. "Ergh. Do I go or not...? Well...I suppose they can handle it...and I would never get there in a timely manner..." He sighed, hanging his head. "Okay, I'll stay here unless it gets worse...hopefully it won't."

-Okami growling softly she watches them both, frowning a little and flicking her tail- "You know eachother?"

Irek yelped and spun to face Aindreas again, his ears flat against his head. He lunged forward again, but was met with only empty air and a nip to his flank.
Aindreas spit out a chunk of fur as he continued circling the grey wolf. "Not personally."
Irek glared at him, his eyes crazed with purple. "So that's how you're going to fight? Fine." He darted forward, but sidestepped into Aindreas's path when he tried to dodge and locked his jaws onto the blue wolf's thick tail.

Requiem and Dusk remain in the shadows of the trees. Dusk had an arrow knocked, but the string loose as her sharp green eyes kept an eye out for others. She is clocked in a dark gray cloak with the hood up and covering her braided black hair. Requiem stayed low with his belly on the cold snow, his muscles trembling now and them as the tension rushed through him. There was a scent on the air, a scent he hasn't smelt since he was a pup.

-Okami growling as she watches them both, snapping her jaws she snarls- "Enough-"

Aindreas slammed his tail against the ground with surprising strength and Irek let go. He flipped around and knocked the grey wolf to the ground with a snarl. "Don't try to follow us."
Irek merely bared his teeth in response.
Aindreas dug his claws into Irek's shoulders before leaping to his Alpha'a side. "Alright."

-Okami would growl loudly then, glaring at Irek she pads back to the sled, Scarlett pulling her mask up she attaches the sled to Okami's harness again-

Irek rolled to his feet, ignoring his wounds. He stood in the middle of the clearing and met Okami's glare with his own spiral-eyed glower.
Aindreas stalked into the forest, his injured tail waving its bright blue tip like a final insult before he vanished into its shadows. There, he waited for Okami and Scarlett to catch up as he kept an ear pricked in his master's direction.

-Okami growling she pads into the forest as Scarlett follows, pulling the sled behind her Okami glances at Aindreas- "How badly hurt are you? And how do you know him.."

Aindreas fell into step with his Alpha, flicking his tail. "I knew his father." He watched the forest, pausing. "And not in a pleasant way."

"Are you hurt bad?" -Okami whining gently as she looks at Aindreas, nuzzling him sofly she follows her human-

-Scarlett glancing down at Apache she smirks and slings the gun over her shoulder-

*apache struggles under the straps letting out a frustrated and worried growl, allowing the human that has him tied to the sled hear his fear but also that he would not hesitate to try something given the chance*

Aindreas shook his head. "I'll be fine."
Irek waited until they were out of sight before slinking into the forest, following their scent. The tranquilizer had left his system now, so he was able to move with grace and stealth.
