New Beginnings

"Josh... he is fine now." -Scarlet eyeing him as she gently places her hand ontop of his- "We even managed to find his mother and father.. I can only assume, that like Okami, he was taken from his mother at an early age"

-josh sniffles looking at scarlet then bodolf- "he... he is a wolf tho... he... he should be free."

-bodolf grunts at josh's comment as he mutters- "i have enough freedom here you moron"

"He can leave whenever he wants. I do not force him to stay" -Scarlet mumbling as she removes her hand from Josh's-

-josh nods- "i... i understand that and you really are amazing to him but... i... i was meaning the first people... the... the ones who took him. you are the best thing to happen to him scarlet but he should have never been taken even if he has the best life ever now" -josh slowly removes his hand from bodolf- "i... i am sorry about my comment. it was not aimed at you. it was only aimed at his past owners or who ever took him"

-bodolf nuzzles his muzzle into scarlet's hand-

"He has never known love from a human. So I don't blame him for sticking around for a while.." -Scarlet smiling as she strokes Bodolf's muzzle and looks at him with a frown- "Since Bodolf managed to find his parents again.. I really want to find Okami's mother.. I have met her before"

-josh nods- "i hope you do. truly i do. and i am so glad that such a beautiful animal like bodolf has you and i am glad you have him"

-bodolf slowly closes his eyes watching scarlet stroke his muzzle relaxing-

-josh looks at bodolf and chuckles- "wow, your putting him to sleep like that and it is so adorable"

-Scarlet watching Bodolf as she runs behind his ear gently and sighs- "It hasn't been easy to get him to trust me"

-josh nods- "i bet. but i also bet well worth it"

-bodolf closes his eyes nuzzling into scarlet's hand-

-Scarlet looking at Bodolf as he runs her fingers through his fur and sniffles- "When I got Okami when I was a little younger, I never knre she had been torn from her mother when she had basically just been born. If i'd of known.."

-josh nods- "i understand. but from what i have read that is just what happens to hybrids... they are only born to be sold. i have no idea what someone would want a wolf for but it is just as sick"

-Scarlet gently hugging Bodolf as she whispers to him- "If I find the bastards who hurt you boy.. I will kill them"

-bodolf slowly wakes back up looking at scarlet perking his ears-

-Scarlet sighing as she sits up and strokes Bodolf's muzzle softly and looks at Josh- "You okay?"

-josh nods just watching them- "you have a beautiful bond with him"

-bodolf lays back down watching her stroke his muzzle-

-josh sighs- "crazy theory tho"

-Scarlet leaning back as she winces softly, looking at Josh with a nod- "It took a while to get though"

-josh looks at scarlet- "have you ever thought that his muzzle still cause him issues and you stroking it helps?"

"I have no idea.. I wish I could hear what he says" -Scarlet frowning a little as she places her hand on Bodolf's muzzle and strokes it softly- "Do you like me doing this boy? I won't be upset or hurt you if you say no"

-bodolf watches her hand and nods closing his eyes-

-Scarlet smiling as she strokes his muzzle gently and looks at Bodolf, glancing at Josh- "That wasnt so bad.. was it?"

-josh shakes his head- "I am glad me and bodolf are starting to get. Better-

-bodolf grunts at josh as he mutters- "would still eat you asshole"

"Bodolf.." -Scarlet smiling as she rubs behind his ear gently, keeping her gaze on Josh- "Baby steps.."

-osh nods- "agreed"

-bodolf sighs leaning into scarlet-

-Scarlet yawning aa she strokes Bodolf's fur and leans back against the pillows- "I should get some rest..

-josh nods standing- "yes you should"

-bodolf moves his head to her hand with a smile-

-Scarlet closing her eyes and yawning as she strokes Bodolfs fur-
