Captured & taunted

Oh. -Okami flicking her ears as she watches Apache, Scarlett smirking as she scratches behind his ear gently-

The humans told me my mother just left. -Okami glancing at Lady as she frowns a little-

*apache moves his head away slightly from the human's hand sniffing it*

-Scarlett watching the wolf as she sits back onto her feet, holding her hand out as Okami watches Apache closely-

*apache moves under the hand still sniffing, touching the hand with is nose every now and then*

[Sorry. Just got home]

In messy handwriting, the note reads "If you'd still like to help with the translator when you wake up, I'll be in my house. It's the new one on the edge of town."

-Scarlett looking at Apache as she stands, frowning a little as she walks away-

-Okami lowering her ears a little as she looks back to the building-

*apache lets out a small bark to the human* "okami did i upset her?"

No.. She goes off to do something. Sharpen her knife I think. -Okami would smirk then, standing she raises her head slightly, howling softly at the moon-

*apache looks to okami* "oh, does she not like me sniffing her then?"

She isn't fond of anyone sniffing her. Apart from me. -Okami would shrug then, standing as she shakes out her fur a little, following her human-

*apache lowers his head* "oh... ok"

Dusk stretched and flipped the hood of her cloak off her head. Patting Requiem on the head she starts down the road. Max's home seemed to be the same direction her forge was, so she would stop by there. During the walk, she took in the view of the village as she moved through the market. Ithad a mmedieval feel to the place, but you'd catch the sight of a flat screen in a tavern showing a football game playing miles, and miles away over the sea and mountains. People milled about with guns and swords strapped to their backs. Just about everyone had a dog, horse, or hawk with them. Dusk had to stop as a little girl and her pup, a beautiful Akita rushed by her right in her path. Stopping by her forge, she poked her head in to say good evening to her apprentice Tommy, who informed her that GGary's dagger was complete and ready for when he came to pick it up. Thanking him, Dusk hanged her bow up and placed Requiem's armour back in its bag. Grabbing her favorite double edged dagger she deaths it at her hip, before leaving the warmth of the forge.

Upon arriving at Max's, Dusks fingers seek out her dagger and rubs the handle for comfort. Keeping her green eyes blank, she gives the door a few hard knocks, before tilting her head as she listened for footsteps.

Lady ponders what questions she wishes to ask her daughter, but instead settles for watching her and watching her personality unfold. Hard, golden eyes goes to Scarlett when she pets her daughter, and she hardly contains the growl. Pressing her side into Apache she tries to gain comfort from being close to a pack mate. Upon seeing Irek up, Lady's tail wags and she darts over to him and tackles him playfully.

Requiem watches silently. A dark shadow moved over the sun, quick as lightning, but his black eyes caught it. His hackles raised slightly, but after a few seconds of looking he realizes whatever it was was gone. Sniffing the air he catches the scent of sulfur, but it is quickly gone.

*apache lightly rubs back against lady* "it's ok i'm here with ya"

She's my human mother.. she would never hurt me. -Okami tilting her head slightly as she watches Lady, flicking her ears she glances back at Scarlett and wags her tail slightly-

The door opens to reveal Max's grinning face. He steps away from the door to let Dusk in, seemingly wide awake for how late it is. A fire roars in the hearth, and a rocking chair sits close to it. In one corner, Max has stacked up unpacked boxes to form a small tree. In another corner is a fairly new couch, along with a lampshade. The floor is relatively clear except for the area opposite the rocking chair, which has a unweildy and obviously altered camera sitting amongst various wires and other metal bits.
"Come on in! Sorry about the mess...I seem to work better with a clutter." He shrugged, chuckling.

*apache looks to lady and then to okami* "she can be a little overprotective"

-Okami lowering her ears as Scarlett calls her over, kneeling down she adjusts the collar around Okami's neck as she whispers- "Why are those wolves still here?"

*apache moves his head to lady's ear* "i think the are getting annoyed we are here"

Lady looks up at Scarlett and gives a soft growl. , as if to say, 'I'm still here, and my hearing is still good.'

Dusk gave Max a small smile and entered the house. She stopped at the door way and scanned the place with wide, green eyes. She forced herself not to hunch her shoulders, or do anything wolf like. After living alone and unnoticed withRequiem and his ppack for years she'd started acting a bit like them, but after rejoining society she'd been trying Harder to be more human. Still... The house was newer than hers, and didn't have a ceiling that she was having to repair more often lately. It also kept the heat in much better.

Taking her cloak off and folding it over her arm she gives a soft laugh at Max's comment on the clutter. "You should see my place then."

*apache nudges lady* "calm down please, lets not do anything silly"

-Okami shaking her head as she whines, glancing back at Lady as she wags her tail slightly turning her head back to her human as she flicks her ears- I wish you could hear me Scarlett.. I want to tell you a lot.

Max smiled at her and walked over to the camera-like device. "I'd love to. But probably not today." He gestured the box-tree. "You can hang your coat on that if you want. Or the couch. I don't really have a place for hanging stuff yet."

Irek was tossed out of his thoughts as Lady tackled him, sending him to the ground. He looked up at her in surprise and laughed. "Hey Lady! What's up?"

*apache looks to irek and chuckles*
