New Beginnings

-bodolf nuzzles her hand keeping his soft whimper-

-Scarlet rubbing behind his ear softly as she smiles, speaking softly- "You wanted me to be happy.."

-bodolf leans into her hand nodding-

-Scarlet smiling as she looks at Bodolf, calling out to Josh- "You found everything?"

-josh slowly enters the room holding a tray- "yes i did"

-bodolf sniffs the air before slowly getting off the bed laying down next to the bed-

-Scarlet eyeing Bodolf for a moment before sitting up against the pillows she looks at the tray with a smile- "And what do we have here?"

-josh places the tray on her lap showing a piece of venison on a base of pasta with some sauce drizzled over it with a mint leaf on it with a glass of white wine on the side. on a second plate was a small slice of fine gammon in gravy- "this is what i could find... i hope you don't mind" -he then whispers to scarlet- "the gammon is for you unless you want mr protective to have it"

-bodolf curls up watching josh and scarlet-

"As much as I would love to drink. I assume I am on pain medication, so I cannot have wine. And yes. I want him to have the gammon.. unless it will offend you?" -Scarlet glancing at Bodolf and then back to Josh as she picks up her fork-

-josh takes the wine and steps back with a smile- "it is totally up to you, if you want him to then please feel free, i will change your drink" -he then leaves the room-

-bodolf yawns as he lays curled up-

-Scarlet placing the smaller plate in the floor she eyes Bodolf- "You want some gammon in gravy Bodolf?"

-bodolf perks his ears looking at scarlet wagging his tail a little- "r... really?"

-josh comes back in placing some apple juice on the tray- "here we go"

"Go ahead boy." -Scarlet smiling as she rubs Bodolf behind the ear gently and sits up again, looking at Josh- "Thank you. It looks lovely"

-bodolf slowly walks to the plate sniffing it giving an unsure glare at josh pawing it slightly-

-josh smiles- "i hope you both enjoy"

-Scarlet smirking as she leans down and cuts a small piece off the gammon, eating it and sitting up- "see Bodolf? it's fine. and gorgeous"

-bodolf watches scarlet for a moment before starting to eat-

-josh glances at bodolf and sighs looking back at scarlet- "please enjoy. both of you" -he slowly moves back into the front room sitting in a chair-

"Come back here Mr" -Scarlet frowning as she drinks the apple juice and watches Josh-

-josh stops at the door to her room turning around- "yeah?"

"You can stay if you want.." -Scarlet placing the apple juice down and then cutting into her meat-

-josh nods- "i was only going to sit in the front room. make bodolf more comfortable"

-bodolf keeps eating his meat licking the plate every so often-

"Oh.. Okay.." -Scarlet looking at her plate and eating a piece of the venison-

-josh looks at scarlet- "unless you want me to sit in here somewhere?"

-bodolf grunts as he eats-

"Uhm.." -Scarlet glancing at Bodolf she frowns, smirking as she pats the space beside her on the bed- "Join me"

-josh slowly moves over and sits on the bed next to her-

-bodolf finishes the meat licking the plate-

"So why did you do a gourmet meal?" -Scarlet smiling as she eats another bit of venison-

-josh shrugs with a chuckle- "it's all i know honestly"

-bodolf lays down having finished his food-
