New Beginnings

-bodolf looks at his hands giving a soft tug against scarlet's grip as he slowly starts to sniff near josh's hand-

-josh remains still looking at scarlet- "so how come he doesn't or seems like he can't move when you or okami have him? is it just him knowing not to mess with you both or is there something more?"

(gonna call it a night, continue later)

"Respect and trust" -Scarlet shrugging as she uses her free hand to stroke Bodolf's fur softly- "Hopefully Bodolf knows I would never hurt him. the day I first got him.. he was ever so shy. He wouldn't growl at me.. but he wouldn't let me touch him at first either. With Bodolf.. I just sat in the same room as him. I spoke to him every now and then, and he eventually came closer to me and let me stroke him"

-josh looks at bodolf- "and now look at you both. You can do anything to him and he will
Just take it"

-bodolf stops sniffing josh's hands as he starts to relax a little against scarlet's grip-

"I wouldn't say everything. But he loves and trusts me." -Scarlet smiling as she strokes Bodolf's fur softly and looks at him- "Bodolf.. Can Josh touch you now?"

-bodolf grunts but gives a small nod-

-josh looks from bodolf to scarlet-

-Scarlet eyeing Bodolf as she keeps her grip on his scarf, glancing at Josh- "Place your hand on his head gently.. let him get use to it"

-josh gulps as his hands slowly moves closer.macidentally brushing his muzzle-

-bodolf snarls jumping forward making josh fall off the bed as he pulls forward barking and snapping his jaws as only scarlet's grip stops him hurting josh-

"Sorry.. he has a thing about his muzzle being touched. Are you okay Josh?." -Scarlet sighing as she pulls Bodolf back gently and rubs behind his ear- "Shh boy.. calm down. It's okay. He wasn't going to hurt you"

-bodolf growls softly pulling against her grip at josh snapping his jaws- "SHE SAID HEAD!"

-josh gets up brushing himself down- "damn that was fast"

"Bodolf!" -Scarlet frowning as she pulls Bodolf back, turning his head to face her she frowns- "He did not mean to touch your muzzle. Now please calm down"

-bodolf stops growling panting deep as he looks into scarlet's eyes-

-josh stands watching-

"Calm down boy." -Scarlet kissing his muzzle softly and then pulling away, keeping her grip on his scarf she looks at him-

-bodolf softly lays down over scarlet's lap again letting her keep a grip on him-

-josh gulps as he speaks- "so... Are we ok to try again or is that him for the day"

"Try again but avoid his muzzle okay?" -Scarlet stroking Bodolf's fur softly and smiling as she looks at Josh- "Don't be nervous"

-josh sits on the bed again with a gulp- "he is a wolf. Not just a hybrid... Not that there is much difference" -he then looks at scarlet- "can... Can you put your hand on his muzzle or something so don't catch him again"

"Go on then" -Scarlet smirking a little as she strokes Bodolf's muzzle gently, speaking softly- "good boy.."

-josh slowly moves a shaking hand closer-

-bodolf moves his head away a little not wanting josh touching his muzzle giving a warning growl to make sure josh got it right this time-

"Bodolf. He isn't going to touch your muzzle okay?" -Scarlet continuing to stroke his muzzle softly and looking at Josh with a smirk, grabbing Josh's hand and gently placing it on Bodolf's head-

-bodolf flinches as he lays still with a small growl-

-Josh's eyes widen as his hand on bodolf- "woah"

"Bodolf.. stay calm.." -Scarlet sighing as she runs her fingers through Bodolf's fur softly and watches Josh- "Josh, stroke his head gently and slowly"

,-bodolf lays still keeping his growl-

-josh slowly strokes bodolf nervously- "s.. So why is he funny about his muzzle?"

-Scarlet smiling as she strokes Bodolf's muzzle gently and looks at him- "he has scars on his muzzle. Either his past owners just liked to hit him there.. or they use to tape his muzzle shut."

-josh sniffles looking away keeping his hand on bodolf-

-bodolf watches scarlet's hand as she strokes his muzzle letting her-

"First time I touched his muzzle.. he bit me." -Scarlet showing a small scar on her hand and then stroking his muzzle softly- "But after be bit me, once he learned I wasn't going to beat him for doing it.. he slowly started to trust me"

-josh nods still looking away as a tear rolls down his cheek keeping his hand softly on bodolf-

-bodolf keeps watching scarlet's hand. his shoulders starting to relax a little-
