New Beginnings

-josh shakes his head keeping a tight grip on the gun keeping all his focus down the sights as a tear rolls down his cheek- "he will pay for calling you a bitch... and the only thing even close to repayment is his life"
-josh only glances at her hand on his as he keeps his aim at kevin's head the only things stopping him being scarlet and the thought that okami could get him at any moment if she wanted-

-kevin looks at josh gulping as he realises josh is ready to pull the trigger standing still-

"Josh.." -Scarlet gently wiping his tears away she slowly turns his head to her- "Look at me. Only me. Remember the night you proposed to me.. the night our darling baby girl was brought into this world. How happy you were."

-josh tries to turn his head away again softly to look at the pistol as more tears form-

"Come on my love.. for me?" -Scarlet kissing his cheek as she smiles-

-josh sniffles as he looks down the sight of his pistol again his grip loosening slightly as he aims for kevin as more tears run down his cheek-

-kevin watches with a gulp-

"Josh" -Scarlet kissing his tears softly she keeps her grip on his hand- "Put the gun away so we can all talk"

-josh sniffles very slowly lowering the gun-

-as he does this kevin runs out of the door-

-Susan frowning as she follows Kevin and grips his arm- "Get back inside and talk to our son. Don't run away"

"Thank you" -Scarlet smiling as she takes the gun from Josh and kisses his cheek-

-josh falls to his knees crying where he was stood shaking- 

-kkevin stops, turning to face susan- "here near damn shot me!"

-Scarlet putting the gun on safety she takes the mag from the gun-

"so? go and talk to him" -Susan frowning as she pulls him back- "He is upset. talk to our son"

-josh now sits on the ground crying intk his hand- 

--kkevin pulls agInst her slftly-

-Scarlet sitting beside him she wraps her arms around him and hugs him softly, wiping his tears away gently-

-Susan frowning at Kevin as she grips his hand- "Inside now and talk to your son, like a real man"

-josh sniffles softly trying to pull free crying more- "i... i..."

-kevin shakes his head slightly- "he pulled a gun on me! his own farther over that bitch!"

"She is a wonderful woman who has made him a better man!" -Susan narrowwin her eyes at him- "At the end of the day he is going to marry this woman. Now shut up and just be there for your son, for once"

"nuh uh Mr." -Scarlet kissing his forehead softly as she hugs him while Nova whines and licks his hand softly, laying her head on his lap-

-josh sniffles covering his face with both hands looking away- "i... just pulled a gun on my own farther... a... and threatened to fill okami's fur with his brains..."

-kevin pulls his hand away softly- "honey... he pulled a gun on me! me! his own farther! how are you not pissed?! he could easily do that to you!"

"Of course I am upset dear. But you insulted the woman he loves, going to marry. and if it wasn't for her stopping him, you would be dead now" -Susan folding her arms with a frown-

-Okami padding over she gently licks Josh's hand while Scarlet speaks softly- "Go and tell him how you feel Josh.. without the gun'

-josh shakes his head- "if... if he cares he will back in here soon"

-kevin grunts- "what do i say? huh? he threatend to blow my head off! i did not serve in nam just for my own son to threaten me with a gun after all we have both done for him and his brother!"

-Susan raising a eyebrow as she listens- "Believe me. I will be having words with him. But this is our son, our baby boy. Who now has his own baby and is getting married. Do you really wanna miss the chance on being a grandfather? Violet is precious. I am going to watch her grow up. Are you?"

-Nova whining as she gently licks his tears away while Okami rests her head on his lap-

- josh sniffles as he looks at okami and nova still crying-

-kevin sighs rolling his eyes- "fine. Let's go"

-Nova licking his tears away she whines softly while Susan gently kisses Kevin's cheek- "Thank you dear. I want our son back. we spent so long apart"

-kevin looks around- "what about the assholes hunting him? the reason we all had to split up?"


-josh looks at nova sniffling then to okami still crying-

-Okami nuzzling his chest softly as she whimpers while Susan smiles- "Scarlet helped. She got them to stop chasing Josh and threatend them if she ever saw them again. She is lovely my dear. Give her a chance"

-josh sighs as he sits back slightly and lays on his back crying as he stares straight up-

-kevin nods slowly- "fine..."

"Thank you dear" -Susan smiling as she gently grips his hand and leads him to the house-

-Nova laying across him Kira also padding over she nuzzles Josh softly-

-josh looks at nova as she lays over him before looking at kira with a sniffle-

-talyn lays down in the corner with a yawn-

-kevin sighs as he is lead back to the house-
