New Beginnings

"You are on your own dear" -Scarlet smirking as she watches Jr squeak softly, Khari wagging her tail as she also watches-

-josh looks at the paw over his mouth laying still-

-keanu places josh jr on josh's chest next to khari's paw-

-Khari gently removing her paw off his mouth and pawing at his arm- "Stroke him.."

-josh looks at khari laying still-

-keanu drags the tablet over so josh could read it-

"Stroke him Josh.." -Khari nudging Josh's arm as Jr curls up on Josh's chest-

-josh slowly moves an arm placing a hand next to jr watching khari-

-Khari wagging her tail she softly licks Josh's hand- "I trust you.. you can stroke him"

-josh very softly strokes the pup with only one finger still watching khari-

-Khari wagging her tail with a grin as she watches Josh stroke Jr- "I trust you Josh. don't be afraid"

-josh keeps stroking the pup with one finger softly- "was... was you not letting me move until i did this?"

-Khari nodding she softly licks Josh's face while Jr yawns softly in his sleep-

-josh nods as he rests his hand softly over the pup to keep it warm as keanu moves to the pups picking up scarlet jr padding to scarlet-

-Scarlet eyeing Keanu her eyes widen a little- "A..are you sure boy?"

-Khari wagging her tail as she looks back and watches Scarlet-

-keanu nudges her hand placing the small pup into it before moving back to the remaining two pups curling around them softly watching scarlet-

-josh looks at scarlet blinking speaking in a surprised voice- "he... trusts you then?"

"Apparently.." -Scarlet speaking softly she softly strokes the pup with one finger, glancing at Keanu- "Thank you.. Keanu.."

-keanu smiles nodding to scarlet as he nuzzles the two pups he is curled around as he speaks softly to khari- "i think you should sleep like you are for the night my love. get him used to being with a pup on him. i want your humans and sean to be a big part of their lives so i will not have him nervous of being around them"

-josh watches scarlet with the pup she held slowly letting his hand down to his side leaving the pup on his chest by khari's paw-

"He was fine with Kira's pups.." -Khari frowning a little she softly nudges Josh's hand so it is softly covering Josh Jr-

-Scarlet smiling as she pulls her folded jacket onto her lap she carefully lays the pup on it, speaking quietly as she softly strokes her- "You are so precious.. so small and pretty."

-josh looks at his hand now back over the pup glancing to khari-

-keanu huffs looking away speaking in a now slightly hurt voice- "more reason to keep him pinned with the little one... he should be fine with your pups too..."

-Khari nudging the tablet back over to Josh with a small huff- "You were fine with Kira and Nova's pups.. how come you seem afraid or nervous of mine?"

"Well done Khari, and Keanu. Your babies are lovely" -Scarlet smiling as she uses the sleeve of her jacket to gently cover the pup to keep it warm-

-keanu nods to scarlet- "thanks. just a shame your mate is afraid of them..."

-josh gulps turning his head to the side looking at the door keeping his hand still over the pup remaining silent-

"Why Josh?" -Khari now growling quietly as she eyes Josh, narrowing her eyes slightly-

-josh gulps looking back up at khari squirming softly under her as he speaks quietly- "p... please don't growl at me girl"

"Then tell me why you don't like my pups but you were fine with Kira's and Nova's." -Khari huffing she softly licks Jr's fur-

-josh sighs as he speaks- "i... i was nervous at first. i.... i know trusting so soon can be difficult and i don't want to mess anything up... s... so i am nervous because the last thing i want is to mess up with such precious little fluff balls because i know how much it would hurt you should something happen to them whilst i am handling them"

-Khari lowering her ears she softly whines as she gently licks Josh's hand- "You are better than you think. you are good at handling pups. You just need to be soft and gently. have more confidence in yourself because I trust you with my life and my pups'-
