New Beginnings

-Matt putting some gloves on he spreads some gel over Scarlet's stomach he runs a small machine over her stomach, glancing at the small monitor he frowns-

-Scarlet sniffling as she uses her free hand to wipe her eyes-

-josh watches Matt with a gulp-

-bodolf grunts as he slowly Wales with okami's paws still on his back but one now resting over his neck pinning his head as he mumbles softly- "didn't want your pillow moving huh...?"

-Matt narrowing his eyes eyes at the monitor he gulps and then looks at the both- "uhm, I know what happened.. I'm not sure how to tell you. I'm sorry. I've never had to do this before. I'd have to run more tests.. but sadly you have lost a baby"

-Scarlet just staring at Matt as he says this-

"Nope" -Okami smiling as she yawns, her eyes still closed-

-bodolf perks his ears looking at okami- "well hello there"

-josh closes his eyes as Matt speaks fighting back tears-

"I am so sorry.." -Matt printing something off from the machine while Scarlet turns away from them both while her eyes water-

"Hello handsome" -Okami smiling as she opens her eyes, wagging her tail as she looks at Bodolf-

-bodolf eyes okami as he lays still speaking softly- "I can't move you know"

-josh sniffles watching scarlet-

"I know" -Okami smiling as she speaks softly to Bodolf- "I saw Matt come in earlier, for Scarlet. So I don't want you to panic, that's why I'm holding you."

"You were pregnant with twins.. but sadly one died" -Matt speaking quietly while Scarlet frowns and wipes her eyes, mumbling quietly- "so I still have a baby..?"

-bodolf perks his ears trying to move only being able to grunt as he tries to move his head- "ok. Let me go now please"

-josh sniffles as he lays next to scarlet-

"No. Leave them be. For now" -Okami lightly pressing her claws against him while Matt and hands her a picture- "again.. I am sorry. Here is a picture of your scan. I will give you guys a moment.. do you need anything before I go?"

-bodolf winces as he becomes still with a low growl as he speaks firmly- "okami. let me go or i will break free"

-josh shakes his head with a sniffle as tears roll down his cheek-

-Matt nodding he packs his things before walking out the room, heading out the front door while Scarlet bursts into tears-

-Okami huffing as she places her paw on his head, narrowing her eyes- "no. Give them Time. Then go in after"

-josh hugs scarlet as he cries whispering softly- "i... i am so sorry my love..."

-bodolf lowers his ears with a gulp looking to okami nodding as he whispers nervously as he lays still under her paw- "y... yes okami..."

-Okami lowering her ears as she hears Scarlet crying while she tightly grips Josh's shirt and hides her face in his chest- "w..w..what did I do wrong?"

-bodolf sighs as he looks at the ground letting okami's paw hold him still-

-josh shakes his head as he whispers- "it... it is my fault... i... d never have been such a dick... or... or gone alone for the walk..."

-Scarlet picking up the picture of the scan she sniffles as she wipes her eyes- "josh. We can't tell what caused it... t..these things happen"

-Okami sighing as she nuzzles Bodolf gently-

-josh sniffles as he looks away from scarlet lowering his head as he speaks- "I didn't help tho..."


-bodolf glances to okami nuzzling her back as she holds him still-

"Just be quiet and hold me" -Scarlet mumbling as she wraps her arms around Josh-

"I know you wanna go in there.. but the look on Matt's face as he left.. well, it didn't look good" -Okami lowering her ears as she lays her head down-

-bodolf huffs trying to move his head in an attempt to get up-

-josh hugs scarlet as he cries softly-

-Scarlet sniffling as she wipes her eyes and mumbles- "sorry.. I ruined your shirt"

"Bodolf. No" -Okami huffing as she pushes him back down- "give them time $

-josh shrugs as he mumbles- "those mutts ruined it worse"

-bodolf grunts as he is pushed back down muttering firmly- "let. me. go."

-Okami huffing as she presses her claws against his head- "no"

"Mutts?" -Scarlet sniffling as she closes her eyes-

-josh nods as he whispers- "the wolves who captured me..."

-bodolf winces as he becomes still with a small growl-

"We can deal with them at a later date.." -Scarlet mumbling as she snuggles against Josh and takes a deep breath-

"Dont growl at me. Judging by her cries they have been given some bad news. Let them come to terms with it. And when you eventually do go in there. Instead to god if you growl at Josh I will drag your ass outside" -Okami growling at Bodolf she narrows her eyes-

-josh nods as he might mumbles- "forget them"

-bodolf flinches becoming silent-

-Okami huffing as she eyes Bodolf while Scarlet softly kisses Josh's chin and whispers- "I hate it when we fight."
